National Manufacturing Co., Inc. is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team!

You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions in support of decision-making needs throughout the organization. The position collaborates closely with leaders at all levels and ensures that their ongoing and ad hoc reporting needs are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Report Development Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SQL and other applicable query languages to create data extracts from ERP and populate business intelligence tools.
  • Create ETL processes as part of report development.
  • Validate report data against source system.
  • Develop and maintain report documentation for training and assumption validation purposes.
  • Maintain and update ERP data schema.

General IT Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with network administrator to perform routine preventative maintenance on system ERP and reporting systems.
  • Work with third party vendors for software updates
  • Troubleshoot ERP and reporting system issues.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 3+ years experience in IT related field.
  • Expertise in Infor VISUAL ERP.
  • Experience with Smartviews.
  • Experience with SQL and SQL Server.
  • Experience with MS VB Script
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
  • Expertise in MS Office Suite, especially strong skillset in Excel and Access

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position works in an office environment, in proximity to shop work environment. The employee must be cognizant of hazards, including but not limited to variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
