Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst to join our HRIS team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in optimizing and maintaining our Workday Human Resources system to support our HR operations and drive strategic HR initiatives.
Additional Information
This full-time exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.
Salary: $80,000-130,000/annual DOE; may be eligible for bonus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits and Payroll leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into effective Workday HR solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance the Workday HR system to align with evolving HR needs and compliance regulations.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday HR, providing guidance and support to end-users and resolving system-related issues.
- Develop and execute test plans, oversee system testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality, accuracy, and reliability.
- Engage in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, assessing their impact on existing configurations and processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and training materials.
- Collaborate with external vendors or consultants as required for system enhancements or integrations. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing system enhancements and best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends, Workday updates, and HR system advancements, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Workday HR Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of human resources principles, processes, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM configuration and functionality.
- Experience with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday HCM certification (preferred).
