  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are seeking an IT Technician to join our team! In this role, you will provide first-level support to our clients. You will serve as the first point of contact for users facing technical problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, a passion for technology, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, and ticketing system, ensuring courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, guiding users through step-by-step solutions
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or external vendors
  • Conduct daily system checks and maintenance routines to ensure optimal system performance
  • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
  • Assist with the creation and updating of help desk documentation, procedures, and user manuals

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCITP) are a plus
  • Strong technical skills in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and remote desktop support
  • Must be comfortable interacting with non-technical customers
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • An eager willingness to learn
  • Must be available to work in person at the BCS offices in Kilgore, TX
