JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
This IT System Administration role is responsible for the support and configuration of the following aspects of the organization s environment:
Microsoft 365 Support including AD/Azure Management, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Server, Storage and Backup management
Anti-Virus and EDR management
Endpoint management
DR configuration/testing
FTP Server Management
This role will support many various facets of the IT Server, Storage, Software & Azure Team. This team member will also be asked to support other areas of the IT Department as needed with the involvement of various other systems and technologies.
Included in the responsibilities is the ability to implement policies, procedures, and best practices as outlined and detailed by the IT Manager. This position may office from Goodwater, AL or Terrell, TX with occasional trips to the other facilities as needed for specific projects.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience with the following applications is ideal:
BigFix Lifecycle & Inventory
SharePoint and OneDrive management/support
AD/Azure Management
Veeam Backup solution (backup to immutable storage, long-term storage, and cloud)
Software deployment
Endpoint management/security patches/updates (OS Upgrades/patches/etc.)
DR configuration/testing
FTP Server Management
General abilities desired:

6. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
7. Ability to effectively communicate with other departments, vendors, and staff
8. Experience with Atlassian JIRA software a plus
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ever-increasing job responsibilities in a similar position
Work Environment
1. Generally, 8-hour days, 5 days a week, indoors in a controlled environment.
2. Some tasks will require time on the shop floor in a non-controlled temperature environment.
3. Occasional overtime required when necessary, including weekends and after-hours for maintenance windows.
