Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Automation Test Engineer. This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in automated testing, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to mentor and guide other engineers in achieving the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Software Engineers and Architects to assess and set code and path coverage targets for automated testing
  • Use tooling like testomat.io, or similar, to help provide visibility into code and path coverage metrics
  • Working with QA, Engineering and Product Management assess and set test coverage targets for all test types
  • Define Testing strategies suitable for the software and services under test
  • Familiarity in testing microservice container-based SaaS solutions
  • Assess and provide recommendations to Software Engineering to improve the testability of resulting code product

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Six or more years of experience in Test Engineering roles.
  • Strong technical background in automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong ability to explain deep technical concepts to all levels of experience.
  • Fluency in a scripting language such as Python.
  • Excellent collaboration with a broad range of functional areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Playwright, JMeter Experience
  • Postman/Newman
  • GHA Git Hub Actions
  • Working with Agile
  • Various testing approaches (White/Grey/Black box, etc...)
  • Understands Functional Testing, Unit Testing, and Static Analysis process
  • OWASP Verification
  • Testing experience with various end points (Mobile, Browser, API, Cloud, etc. )
  • Azure DevOps

Work Location

Hybrid. Remote first with occasional travel to attend team planning meetings and similar events.
