Position Title: Project Controls Manager

Division: System Development

Location:- Jacksonville, FL

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must possess Client leadership characteristics; including but not limited to, customer focused, innovative, strategic thinker and a team player.
• Knowledge of project planning, development, design, engineering and construction management methods, practices and principles relating to highway, building, transit and bridge construction.
• Knowledge of grant funding and award requirements.
• Possess scope control and change management proven knowledge.
• Certification in Cost Control CCC/CCE or Scheduling (PSP) is an advantage.
• Working Knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with ProCore project management software.
• Basic experience and understanding of estimating and benchmarking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe Suite.
• Experienced setting up and monitoring complex project schedules.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
• Analyzes complex data and then delivers clear, articulate and concise messages in a compelling manner.

• Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately and largely self -directed, handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities.
• A career track record that shows stability with an organization and the capacity to develop and nurture relationships that culminates into overall success.
• Ability to lead a team, or be a participant, regardless of position within the Authority.
• Familiarity of basic federal, state and local construction codes and laws with knowledge of FDOT requirements preferred.
• Knowledge regarding testing of materials and inspection process.
• Advanced proficiency in the operation of a personal computer.
• Ability to clearly communicate with contractors and consultants. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
