Job Description:

  • The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management processes to ensure efficient operations, minimize costs, and enhance product availability. This role involves strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement in inventory practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps in inventory management processes, standardize processes, and implement change (e.g., disposition and returns processes)
  • Communicate process changes from us or our business partners to stakeholders.
  • Manage hardware and accessory forecasting across programs (engineering, dogfood, lab, burnout stock needs) and ensure high usage of inventory.
  • Manage hardware allocation process, ensuring all teams within client (engineering, dogfood, lab, Go-To-Market) are allocated the required amount of hardware.
  • Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future inventory needs and identify trends and opportunities to reduce inventory and costs
  • Manage clear approval processes for inventory exceptions.
  • Manage and ensure proper disposal of confidential hardware in all locations.
  • Develop clear documentation for detailed program processes in an easily understood format.
  • Oversee work of and monitor service level objectives for vendors that manage day-to-day operations (e.g., cycle count, receiving of inventory, disposition).
  • Work with our Tool teams to improve tools based on program process requirements and automate data collection.

Experience:

  • 3 years experience in Program Management on cross-functional projects.
  • Experience or familiarity with software development.
  • Experience or familiarity with Operations or Supply Chain.
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Strong spreadsheet/database capabilities.
  • Familiar with inventory management.
