The project manager will play a pivotal role in guiding this complex, multifaceted project, ensuring that each element - whether it s the system upgrade, process streamlining, or digitization - works together to support team overarching goals. The manager will be responsible for delivering key milestones on schedule, facilitating collaboration among various agencies and stakeholders, and managing risks to keep the project on track. Regular updates, progress tracking, and clear communication with leadership will be essential to the success of this initiative.

This will improve access to historical data, making it easier for internal staff and external stakeholders to retrieve information while supporting the department s long-term goals of efficiency and data management. The project manager will oversee the entire digitization process, working closely with records management teams to ensure a smooth transition from paper to digital systems, all integrated within the updated platform. The upgraded system will improve access to natural resources data, featuring enhancements such as improved GIS integration, mobile accessibility, real-time data updates, and advanced reporting tools.

This modernization effort will create a more efficient, transparent, and data-driven approach to managing Clients natural resources, ensuring that the state remains at the forefront of energy management for years to come.

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

  • Provide day-to-day project management support;
  • Creation of project documentation: daily, weekly, semi-monthly and monthly status reports; project schedules and plans, meeting minutes, risks and issues, other documentation as needed;
  • Activity and resource planning;
  • Analyzing project risks and issues, help identify ways to mitigate risks;
  • Process monitoring;
  • Monitor project deliverables;
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis;
  • Documentation of specifications and requirements tracking;
  • Provide day-to-day support for on-going processes

  • Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

    • 3+ years of experience in database migration and upgrades
    • 3+ years of experience in understanding data structure and organization
