ACE is currently seeking a Hardware Designer to join our team. As a Hardware Designer you are responsible for all tasks associated with the control panel design, PLC layout, development implementation, and documentation of control and management information systems which meet the customers' functional and schedule requirements.

We are seeking a designer that will be responsible for all tasks associated with the design, development, implementation, and documentation of control and management information systems which meet the customers' functional and schedule requirements, as well as developing future project quotes and occasionally visiting customer sites.

Ability To Draft Engineering Drawings For Control And Automation Systems Utilizing ACE's CAD/Design DepartmentKnowledge Of Correct Technical Execution Of Project Work As Assigned By The Project Manager Or The Project Engineer. Their Work Will Be In The Areas Of

Instrumentation (application, mechanical installation, interconnection, etc.) and electrical schematics, interconnections, power, conduit, cable, etc.

Able to convert the ideas and concepts presented by the engineer into drawings that contain all of the necessary and correct detail information.Proficiency in communication and experience with advising project managers on conflicting information.Experience with following company procedures and standards for consistency and quality.Able to assist in developing new or revised procedures that are needed to improve quality and productivity.Experience testing control panels and setting up in-house systems for development and testing purposes.
