We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design Project Coordinator to join our creative team, with a primary focus on supporting our client, DFW Airport. In this role, you will manage a blend of project coordination and graphic design responsibilities, ensuring strict adherence to brand and signage standards. You’ll collaborate closely with planning managers, and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest quality. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PowerPoint for detailing project plans, skilled in Illustrator and Photoshop for design work, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication and strong attention to detail. This role will start off with about 10 hours per week and will build up to 20 hours per week when capabilities and performance expectations are met.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with engineers and planning managers to develop detailed scopes of work
• Create and update signage, ensuring compliance with DFW Airport and TxDOT standards
• Conduct site visits to evaluate locations, take measurements, and document findings
• Capture photographs for accurate project documentation and execution
• Review contractor estimates, ensuring they meet project specifications
• Review proofs for accuracy, consistency, and brand adherence
• Communicate with contractors regarding any necessary changes to proofs
• Verify installation of signage through site visit, ensuring quality control

• Proficiency in design software (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for design, with the ability to maintain visual consistency and adhere to brand
and signage standards across various projects.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint to create scopes of work for each project
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in Graphic Design, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, graphic design, or a similar role
• Familiarity with wayfinding principles and signage standards
• Exceptional presentation and communication abilities
