Role Description
This is a contract-based, remote role for Building Contractors positions to include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and roofing. The Building Contractor will be responsible for overseeing repair and restoration projects, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction project management, subcontractor coordination, and budget management
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project scheduling and resource management
- Certification and licensure in construction management, general contractor, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing or related field
- Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient construction practices
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
