Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire
Pay: $34-42/hr (hourly, non-exempt)
Shift: days with OT as needed

Job Summary:
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various control systems operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, PLC programming, and automation technologies.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair control systems, including but not limited to (Siemens) PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS, HMIs and other automation equipment and industrial controls
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance reliability
Troubleshoot industrial plant control system issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to design and implement control system upgrades and modifications
Document all maintenance and repaid activities, including updating schematics, manuals, and other technical documentation
Has the ability to install and troubleshoot, Motor Starters and Controls, like Cycle Start Buttons, Limit Switches, Sensors, Power Supplies and can run wire said items. Also understands the difference between PNP and NPN.
Knowledge of AC and DC voltage a must 480V to 24V ability to troubleshoot high voltage electrical distribution systems in an industrial plant environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Controls Technician, Automation Technician, E&I or I&E Technician, Industrial Electrician, or in a similar role
Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), with Siemens preferred
Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical distribution systems, instrumentation, and control devices in an industrial plant environment
Experience with SCADA systems, DCS, HMIs and other control system software
Experience with relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, SAP, )
Basic works with production Software HMI-process control software, MES, SAP, LIMS
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagram, and technical manuals
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed
