PLC Programmer

We are seeking an experienced PLC Programmer with a strong background in industrial automation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment, with hands-on expertise in Rockwell Automation systems. Experience with HMI and PLC programming is essential, while familiarity with Siemens systems will be considered an added advantage. Candidates should have experience writing code, not just in maintenance and debugging.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems, primarily using Rockwell Automation.
  • Design and implement HMI interfaces for efficient machine operation.
  • Code development for new projects, ensuring efficient and reliable system performance.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to assist in troubleshooting and design.
  • Provide support for automated systems in the automotive industry, with a focus on integration and improvement.
  • Utilize basic Fanuc robot programming skills, including setting teach points and following existing programs for smooth operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Rockwell systems, including Allen-Bradley.
  • Experience with Siemens PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with Fanuc robot programming, particularly in an automotive context.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Prior experience in the automotive sector is highly preferred.
