We are looking for anOracle Customer Care & Billing Sr. Developerin Paramus New Jersey 07653 for a 3-month contract duration that offers up to $73.75/hr., commensurate with experience. This person is responsible forthe design, development, and maintenance of technical solutions in Oracle CC&B. The candidate will both have a production support role and will also be supporting related needs for Capital Projects.Requiresbachelor's degree, master's degree preferred and minimum of 10 years experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) applications.- APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to gather and analyze requirements and translates them to technical specifications.
  • Writes complex queries, PL/SQL code, and Java code to support the application.
  • Integrates CC&B with other applications using Inbound Web Services.
  • Establishes best practices in alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Performs code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality of code delivered and adherence to best practices.
  • Follows standards and documents processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Provides technical guidance to other developers.
  • Proactively monitors services, access, availability, performance, and usage.
  • Provides support for production during the day and batch runs at night (on-call).
  • Provides support for Enterprise Projects and Deployment.
  • Stays up to date with the latest Oracle CC&B releases, features, and best practices.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor s degree, Master s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) application.
  • Strong proficiency in design and development of Oracle CC&B Customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, Business Services, and Inbound Web Services.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Experience in Hibernate Framework, Weblogic Server, and Scripting Languages (Perl/Shell/Ant).
  • Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON data formats.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Gitlab
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Schedulers: Cisco TIDAL or similar applications
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
