Product Ownership at Grameen

Grameen America is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the implementation of a new strategic internal-facing Data & Analytics Platform that aims to provide automated, actionable, visual reports to all Grameen America teams, eliminating most manual report creation and enabling faster and better-informed decisions. A successful candidate will be comfortable navigating a small, cross-functional team towards a Minimum Viable Product. • Lead a discovery and learning process to engage staff, resulting in a deep, documented understanding of the reports they currently create the data they need in those reports, and the reasons they use that data, so that reports can be automated and made visual.
  • Facilitate and recommend the selection of vendors for an ETL tool, a data warehouse, a data transformation tool, and a BI/data visualization tool, among others.
  • Create and maintain a roadmap of future features in the Data & Analytics platform.
  • Ensure timely execution of the features in the Data & Analytics platform roadmap.
  • Be a partner, champion, and support to Members through their Grameen journey.
  • Have a willingness to roll projects into and out of your product portfolio over time.

You should have:

  • Bachelor s degree; 4-8 years of previous experience in Product Management
  • Proven analytical skills, including a deep understanding of data visualization.
  • Experience researching and evaluating vendors and managing a selection process, ideally within the data and analytics industry.
  • Prior knowledge of leading ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Transformation, and Business Intelligence software, configuration, and implementation
  • A history of working with and leading small, cross-functional teams
  • Trustworthy, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and build strong relationships with Members and colleagues.
  • Strong organization skills, detail oriented with the ability to complete work accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in English required. Proficiency in Spanish strongly desired
  • Experience planning, organizing and leading working sessions and user testing sessions with target audiences to gather feedback and requirements.

What We Offer You:
