Job Title: Senior IT Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid: Twice a Week)
Rate: $49 - $55/hr
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role will focus on overseeing IT Data Center operations, supporting infrastructure management, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of IT services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Windows Server Administration, VMware technologies, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure components and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate cross-functional oversight and governance to ensure comprehensive IT Data Center planning and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and service providers to manage infrastructure services, including procurement, payment processing, and expense management.
  • Understand and address Internal Audit findings, developing plans to remediate issues.
  • Provide visibility into the long-term roadmap for functional and technical changes to the IT portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment of deliverables across the team by reviewing and guiding the work of less experienced staff.
  • Work closely with IT Infrastructure Architects, IT Application teams, IT Office of the CIO, and business unit professionals to support operational processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • 4+ years of experience in medium-to-large Data Center operations.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, VMware vCenter, VMware vRealize (vRA) Automation, and VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) Automation.
  • Experience in collaborating with service providers and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, trends, and best practices.
  • Proficient in enterprise-class servers, operating systems, and productivity software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple IT teams and business units.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Experience in leading or supporting internal audit remediations.
