Arconic is currently in search of a Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications IT team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

Activities involved within this position will include:
  • Provides technical support for existing EBS Finance applications, reports, dashboards, and other tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an EBS Finance corporate roadmap and strategy.
  • Support existing analytical reporting and enable strategic expansion of analytical reporting that drives tactical decision making.
  • Establish a high level of stakeholder interaction to identify and recommend solutions within the framework of EBS Finance that effectively and efficiently satisfy the practical requirements of the business.
  • Partners with business teams to define and document business requirements for Oracle EBS Finance projects.
  • Lead the discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks and in the work team.
  • Follow the governance model that meets all guidelines detailed in the audit/compliance tool (with a specific focus on business partnerships, change control, disaster recovery, and security) for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Operate within an offshore model that provides development and/or support solutions in the assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organization.
  • Create written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field from an accredited institution.
  • Must be in or must have completed an internship with Arconic.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. '), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of the business functions of Oracle EBS Finance applications
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SQL language
  • Familiarity with Scrum or other agile project management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a key success factor.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Comfortable analyzing complex problems, working on ambiguous projects, making decisions and presenting results of analysis
