This dynamic startup is a leading platform in voice AI technology, having recently closed a $4.5M seed round and achieved remarkable growth with $3M in revenue in just six months. The team is composed of experts from major tech companies, working together to revolutionize interactions with AI.

About the Role:
As the Founding Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building the backend architecture of our innovative voice AI platform. You'll collaborate closely with the founding team to create robust, scalable solutions and ensure the platform's performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend systems to support the voice AI platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features.
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and system design.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
  • Experience in a fast-growing startup or with FAANG companies.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A founder-like mindset with a passion for making a significant impact.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Previous startup experience.
