We are seeking a Director of Fabrication to join our team! The Role will be positioned in our Pipe Fabrication Facility in Greenwood, MS and will take charge of managing spool designs generated by our BIM software Coordinator and its assembly by the Pipe Fabrication shop specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Fabrication Operations through proper use of the Fabrication Software. (This includes researching best software for work and implementing the same.)
  • Head the process of assembling a dashboard to manage project scope, workflows, man hours, forecasting, logistics in real time for both Pipe and Sheet metal pre-fabrication and/or assembly.
  • Review coordination drawings by BIM team and ensure approval by management before implementation/assembly.
  • Digitally update over the scope of the construction projects
  • Digitally update appropriate labor rates per assembly for better Managing of Labor
  • Manage Labor force and create forecasts for labor needs.
  • Building a Shipment Schedule.
  • Complete T&M Rates & Billings for outsourced Products
  • Organize sequence of fabrication for all projects
  • Organize the workflows & building appropriate workflows within the software.
  • Build a digital Shipping Schedule (for logistics team).
  • Collaborate with BIM Team to assist in finding ways to improve product and efficiency.
  • Work with Project and/or operations management to develop a projection plan for upcoming years.

Qualifications:

  • 1 years of training/experience of design in BIM Software (ex: Autodesk Revit, Nemetschek Allplan, Bentley Systems MicroStation, etc.)
  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A Plus: Knowledge/experience with Procore, BuildOps or other Construction Management Software.
  • A Plus: experience in Quality Control.
