OneSparQ is looking for an Life Insurance Operations Manager for a mid-size life insurance company located in Brookhaven, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the life insurance operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies
  • Oversee the processing of life insurance applications, claims, and policy changes
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with underwriting, customer service, and IT departments to streamline processes
  • Handle escalated issues and resolve complex operational problems
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure best practices

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience within an life insurance operations leadership position, specifically leading a claims/underwriting team
  • Experience working through all aspects of insurance, including claims, underwriting and selling/servicing policies
  • Experience leading and managing a team of 12-15+

Additional Skills:

  • Certificates or licenses within the life insurance industry
  • Technological implementation experience
  • Experience developing internal processes and strategies for both corporate and branch operations
