Job Description
The Project Development Engineer position is responsible for the up-front development and team collaboration of water conservation projects for our customers.

Position Consideration Requirements
- Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Central Florida area upon hire.
- Travel required. This is an office position, with travel (20-35%) to project locations.
- Engineering degree with preference for BSME. Will consider Construction or strong technical degree.
- Able to pass government Federal and state security clearances, and drug screening.
- Ability to analyze and quantify both water and energy savings and implement complex projects.
- Excellent verbal, written and computer communication and technical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and Adobe Professional.
- Ability to continuously walk, stand, lift 50 lbs., and have full range of bodily motion.
- Preferred attributes:
- Knowledge of measurement and verification, project cost estimating and accounting.
- Financial planning / budget experience.
- Experience working with CAD or SolidWork.
- Experience with and enjoys hands-on mechanical applications, such as plumbing, electrical,
- HVAC, automotive.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Perform preliminary and detailed facility studies/energy audits to identify energy conservation
- opportunities, facility needs and potential facility improvements.
- Analyze utility rate structures, consumption/demand histories, condition and operation of existing
- building systems.
- Perform water and operational savings calculations.
- Propose efficiency-saving solutions with accurate cost estimates.
- Design energy conservation measures and building systems upgrades.
- Provide support and technical assistance to Lead Engineer.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager in the identification and qualification of
- potential projects, cultivate relationships, identify needs and propose effective solutions.
