Are you ready for a next-level challenge? Our client is one of the leading utility companies in the Washington, DC Metro area. They are looking for a Digital Project Manager to manage their billing platform implementation project to deploy SaaS modules. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and have experience managing multiple work streams in a complex IT project environment.



Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Develop project plans and change control and communication documentation
  • Estimate the resources and participation needed to achieve project goals
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using Microsoft Project (or other tool as appropriate)
  • Direct the creation and maintenance of the required portfolio documentation and artifacts.
  • Manage project budgeting / forecasting, financial reconciliation, vendor management, and procurement activities
  • Track, measure and report project results (on budget, on time, defined success criteria etc.)
  • Direct the development and maintenance of communications about the projects to stakeholders, sponsors, the steering committee, and senior executives.
  • Conduct project post-implementation analysis and create a recommendations report to identify successful project elements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of Information Technology Project Management experience
  • BIlling Systems experience
  • Experience working in matrixed environment across multiple company business units, across multiple project vendors, and with third party service providers
  • A general understanding of GAAP O&M and Capital accounting practices and standards
  • SaaS Implementation experience
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI, CMM, ISO, and/or CMMI certification
  • Utility experience
  • Azure DeveOps




Competitive salary range of $120K-$150K, based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
