Network Engineer CCNP

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies. This role requires hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and VMware NSX technologies, among others. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches (Catalyst, Nexus), and ACI (Spine/Leaf).
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Global Protect (VPN), Prisma Access, and IPSec VPN.
• Deploy and manage SDWAN solutions, specifically Velocloud.
• Implement and manage QoS for both WAN and LAN environments.
• Support and manage Cisco VoIP systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Manage wireless networks using Cisco WLC and Access Points.
• Implement and manage Cisco ISE and 802.1x/NAC solutions.
• Administer IP addressing using Infoblox.
• Utilize DNAC and DNA Spaces for network management and analytics.
• Implement and manage virtual networking solutions using VMware NSX(-T) with a focus on micro-segmentation.
• Monitor and analyze network performance using tools like Splunk, Gigamon, ExtraHop, Thousand Eyes, and Solarwinds.

Qualifications:

• Certifications Preferred: CCNA / CCNP
• Education Preferred: BA Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with team members effectively.

Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience with Cisco technologies (routers, switches, Catalyst, Nexus, ACI).
• Proficient in managing Palo Alto firewalls and associated technologies.
• Experience with SDWAN solutions, particularly Velocloud.
• Strong understanding of QoS principles for WAN/LAN.
• Knowledge of Cisco VoIP systems.
• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience with wireless networking (Cisco WLC & Access Points).
• Familiarity with Cisco ISE and 802.1x/NAC.
• Proficient in IP addressing management using Infoblox.
• Experience with DNAC and DNA Spaces.
• Knowledge of virtual networking and micro-segmentation using VMware NSX(-T).
• Proficient in network monitoring and analysis tools (Splunk, Gigamon, ExtraHop, Thousand Eyes, Solarwinds).
