Failure Analysis Tech - Field Safety
Looking for a solid failure analysis tech focused on field safety of consumer electronics. This person will be processing a large number of consumer device field returns and using their technical background to run diagnostics to determine the root cause of the issues.


Required:
Perform Category I, II, and III Services level of Failure Analysis Technician services.
Research customer claims and assess their validity based on knowledge of products and failure mechanisms.
Identify and prioritize high priority safety issues.
Analyze device data and determine if data supports or contradicts customers' claims.
Propose new lab procedures and processes to improve efficiency.
Experience with optical microscopy and Xray microscopy.
Nondestructive inspection and the ability to run visual, electrical, and mechanical analysis on devices.
Experience with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.


Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $40/hr+ (Depends entirely on experience)
