The Opportunity

The Event Technology Operations Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and training, ensuring data integrity, and generating insights to optimize the enterprise s meetings management program. This role is crucial for maximizing the value of the Cvent platform and support for internal users. You will contribute to the success of business objectives and collaborate with passionate and dedicated professionals who share a commitment to excellence.

Success in this role requires proven experience working with the Cvent system coupled with exceptional project management skills. The Event Technology Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing the enterprise s Global Meetings Management program. You will leverage your technical expertise to drive efficiency, improve data accuracy, and generate valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making. You ll collaborate with all lines of businesses in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

How You ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

Lead the operations of the Cvent platform for enterprise-wide use.

Create event management processes within Cvent, identifying opportunities for system integrations, automation, and improvement.

Manage system by configuring and customizing Cvent functionalities to meet the specific needs of our diverse event portfolio, ensuring a seamless user experience for all planners and attendees.

Oversee the data integrity within Cvent, ensuring accurate and consistent information across all event modules.

Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to measure event activity, identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.

Coordinate training and provide technical support to internal users, ensuring effective platform utilization.

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
  • 3+ years of experience in event technology, event operations or related field.
  • Proven expertise in using Cvent across all functionalities (RFP, budgeting, meeting registration, reporting, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACCESS)
  • Strong understanding of metrics and knowledge of analytics
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Display decisive and successful problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, understand business needs and apply creative problem-solving skills.

The salary range for applicants for this position is $66,900 - $112,600.
