Amentum is currently seeking a qualified candidate to serve as an Executive Officer (Management Analyst) in support of the Project Manager Transportation Systems (PM TS) , Program Executive Office (PEO) Combat Support and Combat Service Support (CS&CSS). This position is currently hybrid, typically with one to five days weekly in the office at the Detroit Arsenal. This arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client. Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop executive level products, presentations, and supporting documents in support of the PMTS and PEO staff.
  • Manage, assess, coordinate, complete, and report, internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and organize a wide variety of acquisition related meetings (including calendar management).
  • Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain operations, records, and databases.
  • Coordinate and staff documents, to include (as needed) Milestone and Material Release documents.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.
  • Provide other operations support as needed.
  • Provide other operations and administrative support for the Product office as needed.
  • Provide technical oversight of program operations and advise the senior leadership on objectives as needed.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
  • Clearance: Applicants are required to hold and maintain a Secret clearance

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with military operations, or 15+ years of experience with military operations in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and TEAMs applications.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of military experience in positions of leadership and responsibility.
  • Ability to talk and interact with people proactively.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Program Management and project Management awareness.
  • Able to move fast and adjust quickly.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Clearance: Not required for initial hire. Amentum will sponsor a SECRET security clearance, a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment. (Please note: ship is required to obtain a secret clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the defense acquisition process, Milestone documentation requirements, and integrated product teams (IPTs).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in PEO CS&CSS or PEO Ground Combat Systems (GCS).
  • Knowledge of the PEO/PM structure and organizations.
  • 5+ years familiarity with Operations, Administration, or Project Management preferably in a Government Acquisition program.
  • Previous PM or Ops experience.
  • Clearance: a SECRET security clearance.
