Summary:

Seeking an Associate Director, Human Resource Communications who can build a best-in-class employee experience and cohesive associate communications. We are seeking a highly-collaborative, innovative team member with proven experience driving engaging communications and programming through organizational change. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and dotted line to Chief Human Resource Officer.

What Will You Do:
  • Create, align, manage and execute all HR employee communications, including executive messages, organizational announcements, presentations, speaking points, benefits enrollment, annual performance management and salary planning, culture and engagement, leadership development, recruitment-related programs and campaigns, and mergers & acquisitions. Review and approval all company-wide communications.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team, position all HR communications in the context of Guidehouse's brand, reputation and strategy while crafting an engaging and trusted voice. Drive talent brand strategy including social media, Glassdoor, and career sites.
  • Connect with senior executives across HR, operations and client services to understand changing business needs and continually innovate communications strategies to support that evolution.
  • Lead employee experience initiatives across the associate lifecycle that facilitate open, engaging and consistent communication and interaction with employees, including leadership-specific programming (Director level + above) that focus on our Guiderails (Differentiation, Collaboration, Dedications, Innovation, Disruption and Passion) and key strategic initiatives.
  • Support the deployment of change initiatives, by developing internal communications campaigns to educate, inspire and motivate, advising business partners on local preferences, global best practices and culture.
  • Strategize and drive HR public relations to raise employee and leadership awareness and understanding of all HR initiatives, programs, policies and processes including compensation, benefits, engagement, performance management, learning and recruiting.
  • Lead all company-wide and department-specific surveys (survey design, participant information, tool/vendor management, pre- and post-communications and analysis).
  • Oversee the editorial calendar and communications pacing for all employee communications to ensure a strategic pattern and consistent experience for all employees, driving our company messages and evolving storylines.


What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 10+ years of experience in internal or external communications, with multi-brand company experience preferred OR 14 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Strategic thinker who is results oriented and can deliver high-value programs at a tactical level.
  • Proven ability to advise senior executives on communication strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Human Resources and with people communications preferred.
  • Skilled communicator able to articulate and simplify complex ideas and corporate jargon into digestible information verbally and in writing.
  • Superior writing, presentation and project management skills.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work style who can embrace and drive cultural change.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment and be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • This position requires successful completion of a background check and employment verification.

The annual salary range for this position is $132,600.00-$198,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
