Duties

At the full performance level, major duties include:
  • Serves as the Division's Webmaster overseeing web content to include the development of written materials and content such as organization charts, current events, testimony, press releases, position papers and briefing materials and represents the Division in inter-divisional web liaison meetings.
  • Develops and implements strategic initiatives and planning regarding the use of automation, website, web portal, and IT hardware (e.g., desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, SharePoint).
  • Performs in-depth analyses and responds to a wide variety of information requests, prepares complex queries and designs and develops reports to meet informational needs.
  • Develops strategies for and provides significant input to planning, budget, security, configuration, and problem management processes related to CISR IT operations.
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting performance metrics for IT processes.
  • Develops and maintains CISR IT operations written documentation including memos, announcements, manuals, guidelines, standard operating procedures, process descriptions, job aids, and other training materials.
  • Responsible for training team members on CISR IT operation policies, guidelines, procedures, and protocols.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For the CG-13, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:

Experience performing IT Specialist duties including developing and managing the configuration and security access of two out of three following platforms: content management system, data analytic platforms, or SharePoint applications and site collections.

For the CG-14, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:

Experience performing IT Specialist duties including developing and managing the configuration and security access for websites, data analytic platforms, and SharePoint applications and site collections.

You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:

  • Ability to formulate technology solutions using application tools to identify leading edge technology to resolve problems often involving technical issues and operating and policies goals and objectives.
  • Ability to develop written correspondence to communicate IT technical and operational information.
  • Ability to develop and deliver oral presentations to communicate IT technical and operational information.
