Job Description

The HSE Technician, who is part of the organization s Health, Safety, and Environmental Department, helps project teams implement our HSE system and comply with policies, regulations, and laws.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrate a strong and personal commitment to safety
  • Adhere to the standards and principles of the BCSP Safety Professional Code of Conduct
  • Maintain all HSE-related documents following HSE department procedures and requirements.
  • Continuous monitoring of job sites to help ensure a hazard-free work environment.
  • Research, sturdy, and maintain proficiency with applicable HSE policies, standards, laws, or regulations
  • Various administrative duties related to HSE (e.g. recordkeeping, filing, report generation and completion)

REQUIRED

  • Willingness to obtain OSHA 30, Safety Trained Supervisor Construction certification (STS-C), or CHST
  • Previous experience working on construction site
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient with mobile platforms (e.g. Android, IOS, etc.) and MS Office Applications
  • Effective communication (oral and written) skills

Starting Salary: $65,000.00/yr.
