We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Specialist based in Van Nuys, California. The industry you will be working in deals with large amounts of data, and your responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of this data.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents and information from employees, other departments and clients.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that will optimize swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets.
  • Entering and updating information into relevant databases.
  • Ensuring data is backed up.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties from time to time.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role or with database management.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Ability to perform calculations, organize files, and manage email correspondence.

Strong data entry skills are essential for this role.

Must possess 10 key skills.

Typing proficiency is required.

Experience with scanning documents is necessary.
