  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking to hire a mechanical engineer to our team as quickly as possible! Work with a reputable company in the steel manufacturing industry that has lots of growth opportunities within! This position is from 8 am to 5 pm M-F. If you meet the qualifications, please apply!

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Mechanical design work, drawings and calculations, as it relates to the repair or improvement of our existing assets or execution of capital project investments
  • Hands on troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic systems to assist in the restoration of operation of equipment as required
  • Technical calculations and analyses of our processes to improve our operations
  • Project management of both internal and external resources in the completion and execution of assigned projects
  • Technical writing in the development of standards and process documentation
  • Drives safety and ensures all employees are adhering to safety procedures and rules.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Materials Science Degree
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • 4+ years of experience working as a mechanical engineer or project engineer
  • Experience working in an industrial setting
  • Solidworks experience or AutoCAD Inventor
  • The ability to be hands-on
  • Project Management experience this individual will be working on 2-3 projects at a time.
  • Able to work within Microsoft Office

Plus s:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience working in a Steel Mill OR Forging Environment would be a HUGE plus
  • Experience with CAPEX projects
  • PLC programming controls knowledge and anything electrical that is super technical is a plus
