As a System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our systems infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are efficient, reliable, and secure. Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating and maintaining SAP B1 system
  • Performing server migration and updates
  • Continually look for opportunities to improve business efficiency,
  • Monitor daily EDI & SAP operations and performance.
  • Provide input and develop best practices and strategies regarding system deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Analyze existing operational standards, processes and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
  • Ensure system performance uptime and scale, maintaining high standards of thoughtful design.
  • Employ exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalations.
  • Recommend design, build and deploy new tools and platforms that help automate, streamline and scale systems, operations efforts.
  • Provide continuous monitoring, maintenance and support of all cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Stay informed on recent industry trends and developments to be proactive in actions whenever possible.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience with SAP B1
  • 5+ years' experience in a system engineer position preferred
  • Experience with VMware
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred
  • Experience in server migration and updates
  • Knowledge of network management, active directory aNAS, and SAN
  • Understanding and experience in EDI
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very detail orientated, ability to trouble shoot quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Be flexible with excellent time management skills including the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet established timelines.
