MJK Connections is partnering with Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union on 3 transformative Digital Product Manager roles.

About the job:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced digital product manager to join our growing team. As a digital product manager, you will own one or more of our key platforms online banking, mobile banking, digital onboarding, and employee-facing tools and will play a crucial role in driving our member experience and employee experience roadmaps. In your role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize features, design business processes, and manage the product lifecycle from inception to delivery.

What you' ll do:

  • Product Strategy: Execute the digital product strategy aligned with business goals and member needs.
  • Roadmap Ownership: Create and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic priorities and market trends.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, UX/UI designers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Prototyping: Build wireframes and low fidelity prototypes to communicate your ideas.
  • Information Architecture: Organize accounts (financial products), data, settings, and transactions in a logical manner to improve digital product usability.
  • Journey & Process Mapping: Build journey and process maps to communicate user flows and improve business processes.
  • Stakeholder Research: Interview leaders in lending, business services, payments, loss mitigation, and other business units to identify pain points and process improvement opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in digital banking.
  • Member Insights: Utilize member feedback, analytics, and user research to inform product decisions and enhance user experiences.
  • Project Management: Drive the agile product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define key metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and optimize features based on data-driven insights.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, milestones, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.

What you bring to the table:

  • 5-10 years of experience in digital product management
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required
  • A bachelors degree, most likely in business or a STEAM field (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math)
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products or services
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, UX/UI principles, and software development processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering innovative digital solutions.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to financial products is a plus.

  • Growth in members, deposits, loans, and income through digital channels
  • OpEx Reduction
  • Strategic initiative completion
  • Profitability (managing digital as a profitable business line for the credit union)
  • Note: You will evolve and define our KPIs as the organization grows
