Job Description
Role: Technical Writer
Location : Onsite
NOTE : CANDIDATES SHOULD BE LOCAL TO LOUISIANA
Duties/Responsibilities
Develop technical systems support and knowledge base documents.
Review and approve content to be published to a centralized knowledgebase.
Develop technical system implementation and configuration documentation, including related technical support user guides and procedures.
Create end-user training documentation and guides.
Review, validate, and update technical system and support documents.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, with expertise in documenting IT systems, processes, and workflows.
Proficiency in using documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word for creating technical documents.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as Confluence or SharePoint for knowledge base management
Familiarity with technical systems, software development processes, and document version control systems like Git.
Ability to create comprehensive user guides, system documentation, and training materials.
Understanding of API documentation and the use of tools such as Swagger or Postman for documenting RESTful APIs.
Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to gather information.
Experience in creating and managing documentation within cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Ability to update and maintain technical documentation to align with the evolving IT infrastructure.
