Job Summary: We are seeking an Economic & Financial Economist to join our team. As an Economic & Financial Economist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support decision-making processes. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources
  • Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and tools
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and reporting systems
  • Create visualizations and reports using analytics tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into data solutions
  • Assist in the design and implementation of ETL processes for data integration
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Support project management activities related to data analysis initiatives
Requirements:

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Proficiency in SQL & R for database querying and manipulation
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python for data analysis tasks
  • Familiarity with database design principles and query optimization techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex economic concepts into clear and concise messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in business analysis or related roles
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics techniques

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or 3+ years experience
