Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Test Technician to join our Hardware Test Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and skilled at working in a team environment. This position requires the ability to work with minimal direction, the capacity to work quickly, desire to roll up your sleeves and dive in, and ability to help identify root cause of technical issues.

Key job responsibilities

\tPerform maintenance and repair of test equipment and test fixtures

\tSetup and execute tests and experiments

\tHelp create test cases and test plans, modifying existing test documentation as needed

\tCollect and deliver data; write and/or contribute to test reports

\tPerform verification testing of system components

\tProvide test feedback to teams to improve quality performance through all phases of data collection

\tWork with internal teams to identify and troubleshoot technical issues

\tWork with design and test engineers assisting with prototype builds

\tTroubleshoot technical or process issues

\tAct with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information

\tExperience in Functional and environmental Testing

About the team

The Hardware Test Engineering team is responsible for testing any new prototype/pre-production hardware designs within Amazon's robotic solutions. We validate that any design meets our high standards for quality, efficiency, and most of all, safety.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of software development, or 1+ years of technical support experience

- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

- Experience scripting in modern program languages

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
