This 15-employee, privately held firm that is rapidly changing the landscape of risk modeling AI, is seeking a Chief of Staff to assist the CEO and the executive team with business development, strategic planning, prioritization, and portfolio management.

The Firm is a pioneer of AI-driven, integrated risk modeling solutions. The solution is known for its unique approach to industry-specific risk benchmarking, which offers an inclusive view of enterprise risk, incorporating financial exposure and the prediction of impact costs.

Using sophisticated AI and machine learning algorithms, the solution enables real-time risk scoring, industry risk benchmarking, and predictive analysis for future risk identification and quantification. This technology also allows for the tracking and measurement of multiple parameters, dynamic monitoring of individual risks for real-time insights, AI-based risk prediction based on historical data, and the automation of risk mitigation workflow including AI-powered mitigation recommendations.

About the role

  • Chief of Staff reporting to the CEO. This is a remote leadership position that will require 50%-70% travel to trade shows and client visits.
  • $150k - $175k base salary, commensurate with experience. 5% commission on all closed business generated by the candidate, up to 15% yearly bonus, and stock options round out the comp plan.
  • 10 years of Senior Executive experience required. Must have 5 years of experience as a COS.
  • Experience in business development is a must-have.
  • Portfolio management of 500+ CXO list of the Fortune 1000.
  • Must be adept at strategic planning, client management, event preparation, standing in for the CEO, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, project management, operations, and strategic planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic recommendations and helping drive key business initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and ensure alignment across departments to meet the company's objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of strategic plans and ensure timely execution of key initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the company's operational rhythms, ensuring efficient meetings, workflows, and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress on company goals.
  • Represent the CEO in meetings and act as a liaison between leadership and employees as needed.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, events, and client visits.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a Chief of Staff, operations, or senior project management role, preferably in a high-growth tech or AI-driven company.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and anticipate the needs of executive leadership. Must have business development experience.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret and leverage key business metrics.
