Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage National/Regional Retail Accounts: Oversee and manage relationships with national and regional retail accounts. Ensure consistent and effective communication with clients to maintain strong business relationships.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships with Chain Stores and Discount Stores: Develop and nurture relationships with chain and discount stores. Act as the primary point of contact for these accounts, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Seek New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow the business within the retail sector. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and trends.
  • Create Sales Plans: Develop and implement sales plans to meet financial targets and drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent Presentation and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to deliver compelling client presentations. Strong negotiation skills to close deals and manage contracts.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing retail accounts business of over $20 Million.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
