Objective:
The Service Field Manager will drive the growth of our Field Service Operations by leading strategy, building high-performance teams, and ensuring operational excellence. This role will guide the division's leadership, performance, and culture, ensuring VMG's long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor teams through supervision, training, and feedback, ensuring high performance.
  • Foster career growth and development for staff, maximizing job performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Oversee contract and subcontract administration, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Guide business growth by leading strategy development and execution.
  • Represent VMG in community activities and build strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction teams and manage the Service Master Project Schedule.
  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and adherence to project financial goals.
  • Lead contract negotiations, risk evaluations, and pricing decisions.
  • Ensure business practices meet ethical and legal requirements.
  • Oversee service processes, safety protocols, and team understanding of insurance and labor relations.
  • Promote the use of innovative technologies to maintain competitive advantages.
  • Champion diversity, inclusion, and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical background in building engineering and commercial projects.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in financial and resource planning with attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
