As a Product Marketing leader you ll be the driving force in shaping the narrative of our next generation accounting platform- laying the groundwork for exponential growth. You will be responsible for crafting compelling stories that resonate with our target audience, bringing our platform to life through refined messaging and laser-focused value propositions. You ll work closely with cross functional teams in Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success to position Puzzle as the leading financial platform for founders and finance teams.

What you ll doFoundation Building: Establish and lead all product marketing efforts at Puzzle, setting a strong foundation for future growth.
Messaging and Value Proposition: Refine our messaging and value propositions, and define all Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) and personas to ensure our product resonates with our target audience.
Collaborative Roadmapping: Work closely with the Product team to define the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
Buyer and User Programs: Develop programs and content that assist startup founders and accountants in navigating the buying and adoption process of our new accounting platform.
Cross-functional Relationships: Build strong relationships with counterparts in Product Management, Growth/Demand Generation, Partnerships, and Sales/Success to drive cohesive marketing strategies.
Partnerships Marketing: Own the creation and execution of the partnerships marketing playbook, enhancing our collaborative efforts.
Monetization Strategy: Refine and optimize approaches for current and future state monetization opportunities.
Competitive Intelligence: Lead competitive intelligence initiatives to inform product differentiation and customer acquisition strategies.
7+ years of product marketing experience in software companies, people management experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to lead by influence across multiple functions, fostering collaboration and driving results.
Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, including bottoms-up, tops-down, and partnership-driven channels.
Exceptional storyteller and messaging expert, capable of crafting compelling narratives.
Direct experience with segment/solution marketing, tailoring strategies to different market needs.
Clear communicator and writer for both internal and external-facing assets.
Proven track record of leading world-class product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.
Ability to build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
Background in accounting software or services.
Experience working at companies that sell to other technology startups.
Experience leveraging content, events, and community to drive growth and build a competitive moat.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to marketing.

Compensation Range: $175K - $185K
