Proctor Academy, an independent boarding day school, grades 9-PG, located in Andover, NH, is seeking a Director of Technology at Proctor Academy beginning January 1, 2025.

This position oversees and manages all aspects of technology within the institution. This includes vetting and approving all requests for technology, creating and managing policies and procedures related to technology use, ensuring that the school's technological needs are met effectively and efficiently, and supporting Proctor s strategic vision. This position relies heavily on implementing project and team management skills.

Key responsibilities include Technology Oversight, Policy and Procedure Development, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Technical Support and Training, Data Management and Security, Financial Management, and Leadership and Supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master s degree is preferred. The candidate must also have a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, strong leadership, and project management skills, in-depth knowledge of technology systems and infrastructure, the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions, and knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.

Preferred qualifications include certification in IT management or related fields (e.g., PMP, CISSP), experience in an educational environment, and familiarity with educational technology, student information systems, and learning management systems.
