Position Summary:

The VP of Supply Chain is responsible for the vision, strategy and end-to-end execution of Supply Chain. This position oversees procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, demand planning, fulfillment and logistics. This function is highly cross-functional in nature and will work across the whole organization. This role is fundamental in supporting Momentous mission of democratizing high performance by enabling the company to execute its vision and serve customers with the highest quality products on market. As part of the executive team, this role will be instrumental in growing the company.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and management:
  • Define and set up the strategy for the Supply Chain function
  • Establish the best way to measure success
  • Set a culture of excellence
  • Design the organization and lead the hiring of the team
  • Design, select and implement processes, systems and software
  • Own gross margin
Procurement:
  • Develop the best-in-class supplier network
  • Work with product team to identity and source the highest quality suppliers
  • Manage and negotiate supplier contracts
  • Oversee supplier onboarding process
  • Partner with quality to develop audit process
Manufacturing:
  • Lead and manage the relationship with manufacturing partners
  • Build robust and resilient manufacturing ecosystem
  • Ensure all partners establish the highest quality standards and follow GMP
  • Supplier reporting
  • Demand planning
Warehousing & Fulfillment:
  • Inventory management and lot control
  • 3PL management
  • Select and manage the logistics network
  • Negotiate and optimize shipping lanes

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in leading and operating a supply chain organization
  • Experience working for high growth consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies spanning wide ranges of revenue
  • Experience working with co-manufacturers
  • Experience with ERP implementation
  • Experience taking a CPG company from DTC into retail
  • Financial fluency and an analytical background
  • Wired as a high IQ / high intellectual horsepower contributor who is very accurate
  • A self-starting attitude with a love for executing on ideas and moving quickly
  • The ability to operate independently while clearly communicating your priorities and initiatives to the rest of the team
  • Humble, self-aware, and curious

Location:

This is a hybrid position out of our Park City, Utah, headquarters, and requires travel
monthly for leadership and supply chain network visits. Relocation support to be provided if needed.
