Our client, a dynamic biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a Director, Marketing to join their team and spearhead marketing efforts for their specialty division. The ideal candidate should be based in the Greater Toronto Area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive brand growth and expand market reach, focusing on new product introductions and market access.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Foster strong working relationships with global teams, offering exposure to international projects and initiatives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and cooperation between marketing, sales, and other core departments.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they align with overarching business objectives and are delivered on time.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges, formulating proactive strategies to address them.
  • Cultivate a performance-driven culture within the team, encouraging professional development and cross-functional success.
  • Lead and mentor the team, driving continuous improvement and value creation at all levels.
  • Build a cohesive team environment focused on achieving excellence and aligning with company standards.
Qualifications
  • Significant leadership experience in marketing, ideally at the Director level within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex portfolios, and challenge established practices to achieve business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of translating data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Proven experience managing and executing multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience or exposure to market access is a plus, with potential for growth in this area.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with global teams and cross-functional departments.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative improvements to marketing strategies.
