Requirements:Be a United States citizen.
Have a security clearance - SECRET
Be a graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (four [4]-year degree minimum AND have a minimum of six (6) years of Design Management and/or Design experience performing tasks identified herein.
It is highly desirable to have their U.S. Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.) in the discipline being hired (i.e. mechanical design technical support requires a mechanical engineering license) but not required.
Have demonstrated knowledge of broad-based Engineering principles and versed in the discipline being hired.
Sound understanding of technical concepts, principles and practices applicable to multidisciplined engineering project design.
Have demonstrated experience with the following:
o Designing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects with construction costs exceeding $20M or designing petroleum, oil, lubricant (POL) systems on projects with construction amounts exceeding $10M. Designs should encompass a wide variety of HVAC systems and/or equipment, including but not limited to variable primary chilled water systems, air cooled chillers, water cooled chillers, split D-X, unitary, DOAS, VAV, HVAC controls and VRF systems; and a wide variety of plumbing systems, including but not limited to domestic cold and hot water heating systems, compressed air and medical gas systems. Well versed with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and the use of AutoCAD 2022 and Revit 2021.
Have demonstrated the ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
Have demonstrated experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and in briefing management personnel
Provide satisfactory proof of U.S. citizenship. (U.S. or naturalized).
Have demonstrated experience in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), AutoCAD and/or Revit, etc. Have the ability to adapt to new software such as eCMS, MS Teams and Zoom may also be necessary.
Complete the SF-85-P, Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions. This task order shall establish necessary base/building access requirements.
