JRT Mechanical is currently seeking an Outside Sales Person to assist in growing our business base and expanding into new market segments. JRT is a mid-sized mechanical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial Plumbing, HVAC, Pipefitting, Electrical, Mechanical Insulation and MEP Service work. The primary focus will be on developing new and expanding current business in Washington and Oregon. JRT is a well established Mechanical Contractor able to complete installations in excess of $50,000,000.

Job Description:
The right candidate will have great communication and interpersonal skill and will be self motivated. This position will work closely with our Estimation Team to acquire the opportunity to bid on projects that may require an RFP or have to pre-qualify to bid on projects.
Responsibilities:
- Bring new leads and opportunities to JRT's sales and estimation team
- Assist in preparing Requests for Proposals
- Prepare and perform presentations to new and existing customers
- Prospect new customers that reside outside the Washington/Oregon area
- Assist in transitioning newly awarded projects to the construction management team
- Work with customers to develop budgets for projects
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of the construction field
- MEP exposure is highly desirable
- Understanding the sales process
- Ability to build long standing and trusted relationships with customers
- Previous successful sales experience

Compensation: Compensation is negotiable however this is a base salary plus commission position.
