Description of Duties:
The Facilities O&M Electrical Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Work in a team environment using Windows-based work order system for Asset management tracking.
Duties of the Facilities O&M Electrical Engineer position include but are not limited to:
o Maintain familiarity with facilities technical baseline documentation and as-built conditions.
o Assist in the maintenance and operations of MDIOC electrical systems.
o Support facilities electrical outages, which may occur outside of normal business hours.
o Plan and oversee electrical maintenance processes or small projects. This includes subcontractor coordination and oversite.
o Serve as a liaison for electrical facility project designs
o Evaluate Predictive Technology results and make electrical systems decision based on results.
o Monitor and adjust MDIOC electrical system utilizing the MDIOC EMCS as necessary.
o Supervise electrical facilities maintenance technicians who provide 24x7 facilities maintenance services for a 600,000+ square foot facility on Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
o Other related duties as assigned in support of the Facilities O&M Manager

Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience
Must have 7 years of directly related experience
Must have 1 year of experience working in a management or leadership role
Must have 6 years of experience with Eaton Foreseer monitoring systems
Must be familiar with Predictive Technologies including Infrared thermography and how those technologies can be applied to electrical systems
Must have working knowledge of 12470 volt and smaller electrical switchgear
Must have working knowledge of building UPS systems
Must have working knowledge of Government operated datacenters in relation to electrical systems
Must have a Master Electricians License in the state of Colorado
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Must have experience working for the MDA on the IRES contract
Desired Requirements:
Have 10 years of facilities electrical maintenance experience
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
This position is expected to pay $104,000 - $129,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
