Position Summary:
The Manager of Industrial Products will play a key role in leading and expanding Footprint's Industrial Products portfolio. This individual will be responsible for overseeing project management efforts related to product development, customer expansion, and the exploration of new product opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, data analysis skills, financial acumen, and knowledge of the sustainability and packaging industries. They will work cross-functionally with Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to drive growth and innovation in our product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project management of industrial product initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
Develop strategies to expand current products to new customers and explore opportunities for new product development in alignment with the company's sustainability goals.
Analyze market trends, customer data, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and propose innovative solutions.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on product development and customer needs.
Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, drive innovation, and develop competitive and sustainable product solutions.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure effective execution and delivery.
Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the packaging or sustainability industry.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
Financial acumen, with the ability to understand basic financial principles and metrics to inform business decisions.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and trends in the packaging industry is highly desirable.
Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams, driving results through teamwork.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
