JOB OVERVIEW:
We're looking for a hands-on, techno-functional analyst with expertise in SAP S/4 HANA's Plant Maintenance (PM) module and experience supporting SAP Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S). This role is essential in providing technical and functional support to end-users, resolving system issues, and configuring the platform to maintain smooth operations. The ideal candidate will align system usage with SAP best practices to drive value and mitigate risk, with strong communication skills to effectively guide users, influence decision-making, and shape system use strategies.
In this role, you'll serve as a consultant to business stakeholders and project teams in the PM domain. Proficiency in SAP PM processes such as work orders, functional locations, equipment, and maintenance plans is crucial. Experience in integrating field work management solutions and a background in the Utilities or Oil and Gas sectors would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical and functional advisor for SAP S/4 HANA PM, providing insights and support to business and technical teams.
- Maintain up-to-date SAP knowledge by engaging in ongoing education, training, and industry resources.
- Recommend best practices for SAP PM to address business requirements effectively.
- Manage the end-to-end maintenance of SAP PM, including incident triage and resolution.
- Work within an agile environment, using user stories and collaborating as part of a Scrum team.
Core Competencies:
- Expertise in SAP PM, including functional usage, configuration, and extensions.
- Experience with field work management tools like Clevest, SAP Asset Manager, Clik, etc.
- Knowledge of SAP change management, including ChaRM, transports, and table maintenance.
- Some development skills (ABAP, CDS views) are beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with teams to analyze requirements and participate in design workshops.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP EAM/PM consulting or a related industry role.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or IT solutions delivery.
- Additional experience is required for Level 3 roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with DevOps practices.
- 3 years of experience in the Utilities sector, particularly in Field Operations.
- Familiarity with SAP EHS.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and S/4 HANA.
