Role Overview:
As a Jr. Media Content Creator, you’ll be an essential part of the Tradesk Marketing team, responsible for creating engaging content that captures and communicates our brand's voice across various digital channels. While approximately 70% of your focus will be on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube, your role will extend to broader digital media assets as well, supporting the brand’s creative needs for email, website banners, display ads, and more.
In this role, you’ll:
- Social Media Content Creation: Lead in the design, creation, and posting of visually appealing and platform-specific content, from graphics and videos to animations, that engage and grow our online community.
- Digital Media Support: Develop digital assets for additional channels such as display advertising, email marketing, and in-app messaging, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all Tradesk’s touchpoints.
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and implement a cohesive content calendar that drives brand engagement across platforms.
- Trend Research & Ideation: Stay informed on industry trends, cultural moments, and competitor activity to inspire fresh, relevant content ideas that resonate with Tradesk’s audience.
- Quality Assurance & Brand Alignment: Ensure all content is on-brand, quality-checked, and compliant with regulatory standards before publishing across digital and social channels.
Your work as a Jr. Media Content Creator will be pivotal in defining Tradesk’s digital presence, making investing engaging and accessible for our community.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Ideation
- Brainstorm, design, and produce unique, platform-specific content (images, videos, GIFs, animations) for social channels, including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- ·Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, brand, and design) to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand alignment.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest social media trends, cultural moments, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to each platform.
Creative Process & Execution
- Execute all aspects of the creative process from initial concept through final production, ensuring high-quality and impactful visuals.
- Edit, animate, and optimize content for digital platforms; provide feedback to production partners when collaborating with external vendors.
- Create mood and trend boards to visualize content direction and gather feedback from team members.
Content Calendar & Campaign Support
- Assist in managing Tradesk’s social media calendar, scheduling posts, and planning campaigns in collaboration with the social media and marketing teams.
- ·Assist, monitor, track, and report content performance, analyzing engagement metrics to refine future strategies.
Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in social media content creation, digital design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma; familiarity with additional tools (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual and technical skills in short-form video, animation, and social media graphics.
- Knowledge of social media best practices for different platforms, particularly with content optimized for engagement and community building.
