Capital Stress Testing Senior Analyst
Location - Morristown, NJ
Hybrid 3 Days office in a week

Position Summary:
The Capital Stress Testing Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting capital planning initiatives, primarily through the execution of enterprise-wide capital stress tests.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the capital stress testing program, including timeline management, modeling, working group challenge sessions, and communication with lines of businesses.
- Provide broad oversight of modeling, governance, assumptions, and overlays utilized for supervisory and idiosyncratic capital stress tests.
- Compile capital stress test results and prepare results documentation.
- and interpret balance sheet, profit & loss, and regulatory capital implications under various stressed economic scenarios.
- and oversee capital stress testing documentation, policies, summary of results, challenge packages, model inventory catalogue, and analytical reports.
- Lead discussions with lines of businesses regarding modeling assumptions, results, implications, and potential overlays.
- Participate in ongoing process improvements and optimization efforts of models used for capital stress testing.
- Support the build-out of automated processes to analyze data, trends, relationships, and perform sensitivity analysis.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partners in other areas of the bank to produce enterprise-level scenarios and forecasts.
- Design and produce presentations for Executive Management, Board of Directors, and Supervisory Examiners.
- Support regulatory requests from regulatory agencies, including data analysis, liaising with other groups, and presentation of findings.
Other Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and recommend solutions around data issues.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare financial and regulatory capital analytics.
- Assess and monitor regulatory capital data.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments in model design, modeling techniques, and vendor products.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
- Highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent analytic, writing, and presentation skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage numerous aspects of capital stress tests simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple projects under compressed timelines.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field.
- 8+ years of banking experience (preferably in treasury, finance, accounting, or credit) or financial services arena.
Preferred:
- MBA or master s degree.
- 2-5 years of experience in capital planning, corporate treasury, or related work.
- Prior experience with capital planning and/or stress testing.
